Actually, we did not evolve from chimpanzees, though we both do share a common ancestor. In essence, we're cousins separated by six million years.

It's a common misconception. There is no such thing as more evolved or less evolved. Evolution is simply genetic change over time in response to one's environment to adapt. Chimpanzees are very well adapted to their environment and us to ours.

If what you're saying is true, that's a bit of a shady move from us human beings to take our evolutionary adjacent cousins and put them in zoos and make them press numbers and stuff just to prove that we're alike.

Our history tells us that humans are no stranger to making so-called shady moves.
