because american workers don't get paid fuck all when it comes to certain businesses so tips help them survive you know when they go to the end of the night and they get the extra five or six bucks that five or six bucks could be used for gas to get to work the next day or pay the bills
Most food service workers get paid like two bucks an hour and then they get paid tips. But they don't actually have to report their tips to taxes and stuff. And even if they do, they get money taken out of it anyways. So it doesn't even matter whether you do tip or not. They're just getting paid less than minimum wage. It's something that you're already not able to survive on.
i'm not american but i obviously hear about this whole tip thing and like i think it's actually just just weird because you have a job like you chose to get that job that doesn't pay you and yet you're like you're making people pay you out of their own wages i don't i don't i just don't understand that like that culture like
The thing is, you people don't get it. The living wage in America does not match up to the monthly cost for a minimum wage worker. It does not add up. They have to work two jobs full-time to even keep some of that money. And plus, these people who are working minimum wage jobs, they have family. So riddle me how the fuck am I gonna pay that kind of money? Seriously, the living cost in America is really high right now. That's why we don't feel like we're entitled to tips. We need it.
Yeah, like I replied to your previous comment again, it's not the customer's concern of what troubles you're going through. No, it's not his problem He's in to get his meal and then he's out. Okay, you have problems that you're going through that you can't afford certain things He has nothing to do with it. He has his money that he's worked for and he's paying it for whatever he wants You can't tell him how he can spend his money If you're going through problems, then you find a better job, vote for better leaders, get a better system
Imagine you're a stripper just like working getting one dollar every time you throw ass that's wait no strippers are basically paid off tips aren't they yeah
America's an organization it's not a country and they're organized and ripping each other off like extensively if you look at the fucking medical history and the prices too it's mental fuck that shit America's fucked up

Because the living cost in America is $2,500, and the minimum wage monthly is $2,300. How the fuck am I supposed to live off of that? And you expecting me not to fucking ask tips? Some people who work these, like literally, people have to work two jobs double full time because they can't live like this. And you're telling, you, you wrote it in a way like, why they entitled. Like man, shut the fuck up, seriously. Bro, shut the fuck, that pissed me off so much.
Like I replied to the previous part, you just proved the point. Okay, the customer doesn't owe you anything. The customer will pay what he's owed to the restaurant. And many restaurants already include the tip in the bill so that you don't have to do this dirty business of also giving extra money. And in many cultures, many places, to many people's traditions, it's seen offensive to give a tip because it means you're looking down on the person that you have to pay them extra. So you know, you're not special. If you're unhappy with your wage, then you take it up with your employer, not customer.
The tips come from back in segregation times and that's when they didn't pay black people so they would tip them and they've been still doing it and now everybody does it. They need to stop that shit and just pay people a livable wage. You know what I'm saying? It became tradition. It shouldn't be tradition. It's from some racist shit.
