let's just get to the root of this whole discussion right because in the scriptures it says you can be a slave to sin or a slave to righteousness right so regardless of what you're practicing whether it's islam or christianity are you still a slave to your desires in some way right are you still lusting are you still watching porn are you still prideful argumentative do you gossip are you angry now if these things are true right you're still a slave to
So then the question becomes, how can I be a slave to righteousness and not a slave to sin? Because both is going to be uncomfortable. It's uncomfortable to your spirit to be a slave to sin, and it's uncomfortable to your flesh to be a slave to righteousness. But we have to look and examine what ground our seed is ploughed in. Now we have to understand what belief system is going to allow our seed to sprout up and bear fruit and truly be fruitful. Because if there's no fruit, we really have to think about it.
And this is what I want everyone, regardless of what religion you are, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, to really be honest with yourself. It's not about being right, because everyone has, we all have an innate sense of right and wrong, right, and what we should be practicing and what we shouldn't. What belief is really helping us to overcome sin? Has your belief helped you to overcome anything in your life, or are you just mindlessly practicing it out of tradition?
