Are you a grouchy Star Wars fan? Hear me out. Why are people who love Star Wars so mad about it? The more into the fandom you are, the angrier you get. And I feel like this is just like across the board. Star Wars fans hate Star Wars. We all have some childhood memory of something that we hold on to and compare all other Star Wars to it and nothing will ever live up to that magical thing from our youth. But why is it that you hate Star Wars? I will say like I hated the prequels and I started hating the new movies as they were coming out until my little sister said, it's Star Wars. You love Star Wars. Shut up and be grateful you have more. Just enjoy it. ever since then, I've stopped taking it so damn seriously, and I just enjoy it. But I feel like I'm really one of the few here. So what are your thoughts?
I am a Star Wars fan I am not grouchy as evidenced by the fact that I like the last Jedi I think a lot of people just have strong emotional connections to Star Wars which is why they get angry whenever it doesn't conform to whatever they perceive Star Wars to be
Yes, thank you Happy Star Wars fan. I feel the same. I think it's just expectations leading to Star Wars flavored resentments. Why? We can just all enjoy it. It's so nice.
So to respond to your original question, I don't think it's just Star Wars fans that are angry. Any older fandom with people with things that are newer that have been, you know, restarted or anything like that can get really angry.
