Okay, so when I figured out that Clueless, a timeless classic film coming of the age for all of us, was based on Emma, an old timey book from olden times. I was literally blown away. I've seen the movie a million times. I read the book. I did not put two and two together. Whoever had one of those those OMG moments where you realize this is based on that and I had no friggin clue. Is this that moment for you right now? I gotta know, what are these other movies based on books that I didn't figure out? I love the adaptation.

Kind of a weird answer because you think this would be common knowledge but I didn't know that the Shawshank redemption was a novel of course so many great films are adapted from great novel so should've known
