I've definitely had snow happen, that was a terrible snowstorm, not too many snowstorms I've actually experienced even though I lived in Alaska but yeah I've had a snowstorm like that, definitely got to move, got to be safe. Thank you for participating on my post on Twitter.
As far as natural disasters are concerned, I would have to say probably a typhoon when I was in Korea, when I was in the military back in the day. That probably had to be the worst natural disaster, we were all huddled together in a safe spot, men and women, marines together, and it is what it is, you know what I mean? We had to buckle down and deal with it.
a typhoon a typhoon yeah I can't even imagine my heart would probably be so bad clearly you made it out safe or whatnot that is wild shout out to you so much thanks for coming by answer my question because I was just sitting here like this is probably the worst mm-hmm there was like a avalanche that happened to me in Alaska one time but not really happens when he was around the area I was
Back in 98 or 99, we got in a really bad, like, tornado. We had a tornado touchdown close to the elementary school where a lot of my friends were going. And it actually struck into a neighborhood and hit every other house. Somehow it passed over our neighborhood and hit the next one next to us.
Yeah, I've had this happen to me where literally the tornado went down one street, knocked and flattened out every house on the other side, but the side of the street that I was on, thick and touch, didn't even look like a natural disaster came my way. But as you look across the street, I mean, nothing but foundation. So I've been through that. That's crazy. Thanks for answering my question, Frenchy.
Hey, so this is Tammy. So the worst natural disaster I've been in was our tornado back in, what was that, like 2010? I'm not even sure, but I've honestly been pretty blessed to not have like my power knocked out or, you know, I've been pretty blessed that all the storms have kind of passed over me. So I'm going to continue to give God grace for the same.
May God continue to give you grace and the favor, because I actually had a really terrible tornado happen. Like I said, it was like, the tornado really, you saw it come down the street and literally just knock out one side of the street. And you look at one side of the street, you wouldn't have thought a tornado even came. Nothing. But the other side, every house, nothing but foundation. So yeah, thank God for his grace and his mercy.
Alright, so 1980s, I lived through the Mount St. Helens volcano eruption. Yes, I am that old. And then I lived through the big huge San Francisco earthquake. Just to turn around and move to Los Angeles and live through that earthquake. And then I'm about to go out east and learn what hurricanes and tornadoes and typhoons and all that BS is all about. Go figure. I'm here for a reason, I guess.
I think one of them was when there was a blackout. I think the blackout was scary, it was really cold, there was no lights, and it happened for such a long time. I can't remember how long, but I remember it well.
