Pineapple fact of the day with Pineapple Planet, did you know that at one point in 18th century England that pineapples were actually used as currency? They were so expensive that you could actually use them as like rent or pay for things. I don't know if Paris Hilton would be okay with me paying for my hotel with a pineapple. Pineapple Planet out!
I did not, I was not aware of this and it is very interesting and it does make sense if you think about it though you know there I don't believe pineapples were native to the UK obviously so anything they were like importing was you know had some value so I think it makes sense. Interesting.
Hey, Pineapple Planet, did you know that at one point in time, lobster was considered bugs of the water and were fed to criminals and the poor? And funny facts, yeah, pineapples also symbolize hospitality. So if you have a pineapple statue or some sort of display out front, it's a welcoming sign, I guess. Mm-hmm, peace.
