Hey it's May from CBT radio with my first sound by... should we all have standards? Or just give everybody the benefit of the doubt? Should we just have a list of requirements? Or...
So yeah, we should all have standards, but we should be realistic with our standards. There are a lot of people out there that have very unrealistic standards and are shocked when those standards aren't met, so just be realistic.
This is a good question. I do believe that we all should have standards. And I think initially we should give people the benefit of the doubt, but we should also set boundaries as well.
I definitely think it's great to have standards so the right person can come in and uphold to those standards or be what you want when the right person comes. Yeah.
I feel you on that because it's like when you don't have standards then you're kind of left with bullshit but when you actually have some type of structure you get better outcomes.
I feel as though a list of requirements will have a mindset of what type of person you want, but sometimes you have to go with the flow and you might find other standards that you, you know, might throw out the window or find something that you like about that person.
