Hey Stereo Peeps, Moon here. Today is one of those days for me where I feel sluggish and tired. I did take a nap today and it didn't work. So when that happens, on days you feel particularly sluggish despite taking a nap perhaps, right? Closing your eyes for just a few minutes. What do you do to combat that? For me, I plan to get some coffee because even though it is only 2.51pm in the afternoon, I got stuff to do. You know what I mean? I gotta get some tasks completed. So caffeine becomes my friend at this point in the day. I would love to know what you do in terms of helping to minimize the sluggish feeling in your day. Comment below. Let's talk about it.
I hope it does help as well. I actually gave a podcast talk yesterday where I talked about adrenal fatigue. The talk is like still open. I haven't hidden it or gotten rid of it and I'm not going to. It's gonna be out in the open for people to listen to but yeah check it out. It's got excellent information. I have the links of the articles I read and linked above throughout the show but I think it would actually really help.
I'm definitely making the same goal, you know, going to bed on time, waking up early, you know, drinking water throughout the day, etc. Like these changes for me are going to have to happen slow. You know, I've got like, I have to like balance my diet more and drink more water and get better sleep, etc. It's going to take me time to do this. So I encourage you, if you're in a similar boat, just be patient with yourself.
No one is perfect, you know, we're not going to perfectly get the changes right away on time and every time, but it's important that we like, you know, stay on track, be steady with it, and that we, you know, just give what we can, right, and so forth. So you got this, you got this, Dreamy, I'm cheering you on.
Here's the thing, Healing Moon. I am NOT a health professional, nor do I claim to be. Not even a doctor. But maybe, just maybe, just take a drink of lemonade instead of caffeine. I know it's a little easier said than done, but...
Lemonade instead of coffee. I think for me that's a first. I've not ever heard that recommendation, but I do see where you're going with this and I very much appreciate your recommendation, Magic. I'll definitely have to look into that for sure. Perhaps I'll let you know if I think about it, how that went. Cheers to you.
And thank you for the disclaimer, come a little closer, I'm not a doctor either, you know, I'm not a registered dietitian, in fact, I don't hold any formal degrees, but I'm looking around, you know, I think we're okay. Yeah, yeah, but thank you for the disclaimer, I appreciate it, you know, that you're acting within your right.
And when I say that you are acting within your rights it means despite you not being a medical professional or a nutrition professional that or a health professional right that you are still willing to give me advice to make a recommendation. So I definitely took your recommendation to heart and I'll look into it.
I've been replacing a lot of my caffeine addictions over to lemonade. I mean, make your own lemonade, obviously. Because some of the lemonades on the market are pretty much processed in one way or another. But I would say lemonade. But don't take my word for it. Just do what's best for yourself.
Thank you for your live review. I'll definitely have to look into that. Do you interchange between different flavors of lemonade like raspberry lemonade, strawberry lemonade, pink lemonade? I forget if there's other flavor lemonades, or do you just stick with like the main lemonade? Because some people like the other flavor lemonades, but other people don't. So yeah, thank you for your recommendation either way.
