Hey, what's up, y'all? This is Techie. I'm back. And just started something new here. It's called Tech News. So what I wanted to talk about this morning is how the US government might ban TikTok. And I know it sounds like a surface level issue. But this thing has to do with foreign interference, along with some type of espionage and some other things that are going on from the Chinese own company of TikTok y'all. So our foreign relation, our foreign affairs committee in Congress has already put the bill through. It is past the first stage of it and it will be making its rounds throughout the year. But just, you know, for all you guys out there that use TikTok, just know that the government is really pushing this ban. and so stay tuned.
I see this as a very very very very good thing because TikTok is like a fucking plague that's just taking over the entire world and And it's about time that shit gets put out of commission.
Can you let me tell you something I fucking fucking fucking fucking hate the motherfucking Chinese TikTok app I should I say that everybody in the world think I'm a Chinese man nothing nothing you
Because the Facebook servers are stored in United States of America and the TikTok ones are stored in China and it's at the whole used thing but Zuckerberg already went through crazy you know investigations and seed lawsuits and stuff about it
That happened several years ago. It was like, whether or not they were interfering with the election and stuff. But yeah, the servers and stuff for TikTok are in China and we don't have control over what they use that information for.
I feel like TikTok has screwed our attention span and it's like we can't even sit as a collective to really bask and like talk about one singular thing. Like, it's fucked our brains.
i will say one thing i do appreciate about tiktok is the the grimy history and the the actual current events that some communities are going through around the world i find out through tiktok versus other platforms.
I don't know. I feel like they might, to be honest. And I hope they don't just because people make their livings off of there. And the same Americans that you want to pull up by their bootstraps are the same ones that you're about to cut down and like get rid of their livelihood.
