I just saw this post on Instagram and I wanted to share it here and I'll read it to you as well it like totally reflected how I've been feeling and how I feel a lot of us are feeling on this app and talking about motherhood so I'm gonna read it and let me know your thoughts as smothering our children often requires from us phenomenal growth yes and this needs to be recognized and honored the growth as felt as a stretching emotionally mentally socially relationally and intellectually but sometimes it's too much were asked to individually expand and hold what was meant to be held by a collective of people the stretching is sometimes painful isolating it feels is that we're being taken to her edges and sometimes we collapse into them rather than expand past them Part of our strength and mothering is also knowing when we need to take a step back from mothering and there's a couple more slides in there I think I can link it here they're really powerful post and the author of the post was hoping it would spark conversation and I'd love to have a conversation about that here if anyone wants to share
