OK this one's for only ladies so whenever that time of the month starts to hit do you take the week off or do you just take it like a champ and you still go to the gym because the frisbees for me are usually super rough but I still go I just take it really lightly but what are you doing
so it's kind of funny because i've actually found that i can like lift heavier sometimes on those days um so i don't take any time off like i if anything like i know that once i work out like i'm gonna feel better like if i have grams or something like usually after i work out like they're pretty much gone like i've worked through them so like i love working out on my period and um i won't do anything that like like i won't squat super heavy and i won't like dead lift super heavy but i'll definitely like have a really good work.
Oh girl you are definitely one of those rare ones I oh my goodness I wish I were you during those days because I my cramps are just so severe that I have to take the day off with life I just left I have to be laying in bed with the heating pad and nothing but chocolate because I just my iPad I almost passed out but damn you're you're doing it with working out on those days
So I normally will press through because I find that the exercise even if it's late to moderate exercise will actually make me feel better but because of the endorphins that are released during exercise I feel like it really helps to reduce the inflammatory effects of of that time of the month so I even though I mentally may not necessarily feel like it like emotionally I'll actually do it because I know even if I walk for 15 minutes I feel a lot better and my pain normally goes away
I love how you worded and explain this because the first day or two I usually do not go to the gym because my cramps are just really really bad but for some reason whenever I work out they do minimize that the pain does minimize and one of my favorite things to do all Anuel while my first couple of days is not to waitress but actually to swim because for some reason it just goes numb like I don't feel it anymore but I think it is OK he said it
Depends how severe the flow is and the cramps I want to go but I won't do my normal tense workouts I'll probably just take it calmly and I do like a little bit cardio and a little bit like on at work but not too crazy
I understand you 100% even just getting some type of physical workout in is enough because the first day I'm not even allowed to I do most of the time takeoff maybe the second day because my cramps are just horrible but I find that working out does minimize the pain and make your scene and even just doing a little bit of cardio or doing weight lifting that slow weight helps in the house tremendously
For me it really depends I am actually just finishing mine up thank God but I did take the first two days off and then I've been in the gym cents Might get really bad so I'm very heavy are usually will take the first couple days off and then I'll proceed the rest of the week
I get you and it's amazing that you actually found some thing that works with you because sometimes I still struggle with finding out or just thinking oh shit I got such insulation I go to the gym today a lot of it is mental but then there's those days where are you think that you have enough of pain to not go to the gym and it's just those times are you just have to listen to your body and excited that you're saying it is the first couple of days off and then afterwords just proceed with your normal routine
So when I do go to the gym like, and now I'm in my period, I fucking go like I don't really care. If I leak, I leak. I leak, I leak. And what about it? Like it's fucking normal. Like if you're a man, you're a hendled. If you're a boy, you'll be like, ew, you know fucking, like I don't give a fuck. and like the fuck
