I make this activity. I call a busy basket with my son and essentially what it is is three to five other little activities, puzzles, a coloring, writing, something, or like in the sense I just got a sticker book, so a page from the sticker book with some stickers and like little things like that and I put them together in a basket and I take that basket somewhere like in the kitchen if I have to do dishes. I plop that basket next to me. He has a a focus of where his activities and his whole focus should be, and I'm able to get my dishes done and just be able to do something without him having my full attention on him. And so I'm curious to know if these baskets are something that you would love to know more about, or if this is something that you would find useful in your home. I would love to talk more about it with you. I also have a haul of the stuff I got today to incorporate in more busy baskets because I felt like I was in a creative stump recently. But anyways, if you want to go check out that video, I had posted it on TikTok and then I do have previous busy basket videos over on TikTok as well. But I'm going to try to find one of my phone to also attach to this post and I think I do have one, so there's probably one already attached to this post. Let me know if you like this idea, I would love to show you and chat about it more.
That is a super cute idea I definitely want to start trying this is my son because I just feel like we run out of like things to do during the day and it gets boring really quick and then I always feel so bad
That's kind of like how I was feeling before I started doing busy baskets and honestly I feel like if you just throw a good handful of toys that he hasn't seen in a while in the bin and then move the bend somewhere he normally doesn't play with like certain toys that you put in the bin it does the job different place different toys in the bin they're all the same concept and they enjoy it
That is such a good idea I have never thought about something like that but mine taller does being his only toys that he's playing with at the time in the kitchen and says on the ground next to me and plays with them and like something out of the cabinet while I do my dishes so I usually don't have an issue with that but I would love to see a lot more about your missing baskets
That is super Duper smart and I'm definitely in a cup you can sometimes my toddler's really good and she just does her own thing most the time but my son on the other hand he's only year though but I feel like this would work so thank you for sharing
