It was pretty nice out today and my son has been obsessed with writing the alphabet in chalk and we had to just recently redo it because it was raining the past couple of days. And today I was thinking, ooh, it would be fun to do a little matching game. So I set up like these shapes and three different colors just to keep it simple and three different shapes. And then I put them in like a square box and I was kind of just like explaining them to him but at the end he started like hopping from each one which was super cute um so we used it as like a color matching and shape find kind kind of thing on the sidewalk and he had a really fun time.
Oh that's really cute and creative I love that it reminds me of like my childhood childhood I just feel like growing up you're more outside and just like you had to be creative now I feel like the kids just have so much technology like we did we just didn't have it
Fine with Chuck was so fun I was on Pinterest and that's kind of how like I got the ideas that I used like today but also I saw that there was like puffy paint chalk and like different ways to like mix chalk paint to make it like I guess more vibrant or something so I'm gonna have to try that with him and also don't get me wrong he had some screen time before I had to like pull him away to go outside but he definitely enjoyed it I'm gonna have to try doing
I'm gonna have to figure out how to do the like chalk paint stuff and I think it's like puffy paint chalk I don't know some two of them are really kind of different so I'm gonna have to look more into that
Yes, that is such a cute idea. I want to use Sidewalk Talk 2 with my daughter. She's 21 months old. She just puts everything in her mouth, so I'm kind of hesitant, so we haven't done that yet, but I have two packs of it, so I might as well try soon. We definitely will try this spring.
Thank you I got the idea off of Pinterest but I kind of like catered it more to what my son would be interested in and then also the chocolate had I've had it for a while and I hadn't been able to use it because my son was the same way you put everything in his mouth and so I had this track sitting like in our like sunroom for literally since last spring or last summer and now we're finally using it
That is super cute and creative that's a really great idea I can't wait until it warms up a little bit more so that way I can do the same and do the talk with my kids it's just been rainy and cold here still where we live and ready for the warmth
Girl I have not been keeping up with the rain so last night it did rain I didn't know and it washed everything away so when I took my son out this morning I was hyping them up to go play with the cho that we wrote outside and come to find out I have to I had it well I already did I had to re-draw everything that was not fun I actually you know it's fun for him but like I just didn't know it was gonna wash away so soon I have to keep a better eye out on the rain
I was just saying how I was gonna get my baby some chalk to play with outside, but I love how you incorporated like matching and alphabet so I'm definitely going to take a page out of your book and do that. Thank you.
Thank you yes definitely take all the notes because I got this idea off of Pinterest and I was thinking of a way to lake incorporate the truck because he doesn't really draw but he loves matching any loves numbers in the alphabet but it all washed away last night so I had to rewrite it all again so just a fair warning I am not very knowledgable and when it rains around here but it was really fine he enjoyed it I just had to write it all again this morning
Oh that's so cool actually have done a lot of activities these past two days I don't painting I don't Plato homemade Plato and then I don't know like talk to so yeah it's definitely fun
My son has been so obsessed with water painting and he painted the couch when I was letting him paint in the living room but I'm so thankful it was just water paint and it was washable but painting has been a big sport in our house
I love this Isa play with so much talk when I was a kid and I do like little patterns and then make like hopscotch is home and hopscotch and brought back memories of cute we don't have any some men at our house so I think we have like two bricks out front on the ground but I'll baby Decks and I'm sad that I can't play with Jack
