I feel like the season of giving is really coming up with graduations, weddings, birthdays, you get the idea. And so I want to ask you guys, what's the best present to give? Because I love gifting experiences, like taking a friend out to brunch or going shopping or exploring a city that we haven't been to yet. I just think it's just so much more thoughtful than just a gift card or something generic, but I know everyone's really different. So yeah, would love to hear what you would do or give.
If I really know the person I'll get them an actual gift, but otherwise it's just mainly gift cards That way they can get what they want. There's no high expectations or anything like that They get a nice card with a gift card.
You know I never been a gift card type of a girl but if I'm running late then I will give them one and allows them to pick exactly what they want and I don't have to be stress trying to figure out if they like it or if they don't like it
I mean, I feel like you can't really go wrong with a gift card, but I think it depends on the level of friendship because it's like my best friend just getting me a gift card. I'm gonna be a little ungrateful because I'm expecting a little more than a gift card for my best friend.
I definitely love experiences I also think really nice things like jewelry that will last forever is always nice but sometimes I just look at the person and think about what they would really like and want but would never buy for themselves for example like maybe a nicely made bag that's some thing I probably wouldn't buy for myself and someone gifted that to me and I thought that was an awesome gift and I use that bag for years so yeah I would look at them look at their style and just think of something they wouldn't buy for them
Yeah, you're right. Because you drive, we do less for a long time. Like, even if you break it, you still normally keep it. So, that's like a forever gift. that's right that's good
I think the best person to give someone is something handmade you can add something else to it but if you can make a card and make a note like a jar that they've been wanting something handmade really really really shows that you care and you put the time and effort into it
So with my friends and my family, I give them gift cards to their favorite places. Like if it's a spa, if it's their favorite restaurant, their favorite department store to shop at. I normally give those kind of gift cards because for me it's just easier. like I know you like it and I'll just give you a gift card.
Yeah, I feel like you can't go wrong with a gift card, especially if you know what they like already and you go to that specific spot and get a gift card. So I feel like that's pretty good. But after a while it's going to be like, damn, that's the third year you didn't got me a gift card. You know start to make you think like this all you got
I feel like experiences are the best gift to give like yeah you can give tangible material things but giving somebody an experience like concert tickets if you can afford that or like a trip to like a coffee date or something like that giving somebody an experience is going to mean way more than just like a material gift
Oh good depends what do you the person is I think I think food is always a safe gift or an experience or some art How many different experience though like am I just got my dad I'm going to whisper and take it to a magic show and that's a really cool gift so yeah I just experiences over physical things I think
The best present to give to someone is money. If not money, then I'd say shoes, a piece of clothing, or something thoughtful towards the person. So it can be some flowers, or it can even be a purchase of a service that you know that they consistently go to that will benefit the person that you're thinking of and also the business as well. So yeah.
It could be anything that is valuable to the person you won't get full no point buying whatever you think is nice definitely better to think about what the person receiving a gift would like most
