So today I explained to my six-year-old how if we wanted to have a movie night and they're not so distant past, we would have to rent movies. They weren't on the TV. You would need to actually either own the DVD disc or way back when the BHS, but mostly the DVDs, or go to Blockbuster or rent them from the Red box and pay for it and then bring it home. So you'd be looking at the descriptions either on the red box or in blockbuster but they didn't they weren't just like on the TV and I think he looked at me like I'm a complete dinosaur. I know some of you are really young on this app but who remembers going to Blockbuster.
That is crazy. I do remember going to the blockbuster but my family mainly that I remember we mainly went to like family video. I don't know if you had that in your area but it's basically the same same thing you just go in and rent your stuff and that's it and then wow that makes me feel Oh, what the heck?
Yes, I remember going there all the time. I loved it and such great memories to look back on and yeah. And now it's like, you can't even find a blockbuster anymore.
Oh my god, not only blockbusters, so that was obviously when we were younger, but as teenagers I felt like we went to the red box, which is like vending machines that had movies. they were usually like at 7-eleven.
I can remember going to Blockbuster and I can also remember melting VHS is in my back window don't ask me how it ended up they're probably with my younger sisters I've no idea
I totally took my hand off the button but anyway so I remember doing that I don't know how I did that but I also remember that I was always very kind and I rewind it be kind rewind do you member that
Bro I remember going on black to blockbuster back in the day and I remember crying like a bitch because I couldn't get a toy Knigge fucking they give me they don't know nothing about blockbuster Knigge blockbuster was like the best thing in here movies oh my God fuck everyone dog like really really like I don't know It's sucks
I definitely remember this experience as a kid. It was a cool little like experience. I would go with the family. We would argue over which movies to bring home, which games to bring home. We'd figure it out, get our little snacks, and go home and enjoy them together, typically as a family. One of my credit cards is also like a blockbuster card. And every time I break it out, people are like, what? It's pretty great. nice reaction.
