You know what really gets me and pisses me off is when people are like oh don't worry like she didn't have enough she's gonna go to bed early or do I like to skip her nap and have a run around the other kids and I take her outside and she'll go to bed early I don't care and that's not how it works K and my kid is gonna be fucking overstimulated overtired and she's gonna go to bed early tell me a fucking hassle to put her to bed tonight that's how it works

See it's funny because my daughters in like the middle stage she's 2 1/2 and she stop napping on her own like I try to force her to but she just doesn't want to at all and then she does go to bed at 6:30 so it's like I'm living in right now it's great

Yes, I completely agree. Like I have been told so many times that, oh, skipping nap time is great because they'll go to bed early. And I'm like, since when? I'm like, they get overstimulated, they get overtired and then they can't fall asleep because they just can't calm down.

Yes, I hate when people, especially people that don't even have kids, are like, Oh, it's okay. They can just skip their nap. They'll just be really tired tonight and they'll crash out for you. And it's like, no, no, no, no, it'll be an hour past their bedtime of me trying to argue with them to take a nap because they are so exhausted in throwing fits that they don't want to go, like they need to go to sleep and they know they need to go to sleep, but they don't want to. because they are so exhausted and overstimulated that they're just like a hot mess.
