Anyone else get like super frustrated when the older generation really rags on you and the fact that you don't spank your kids and that you use other forms of discipline but in a gentle form way to discipline your kids without raising your hand because I've had a few comments about how I'm going to raise a spoiled child or my kids are gonna be bad because I don't spank them and I just get really irritated because There are other ways to teach your kids respect and to discipline them without having to hit your children because it is speaking your kids is the power of authority

It's always the people that are like oh my God I got it as a kid named fine clearly were not fine if you're saying that thanks It is never OK to hit anybody let alone child I just never happen

Yes I absolutely hate it and right now my son is going through a stage where he likes to hit and everybody tells me all when I was younger we would just get hit back and read mind but like it's so different now and it's like parents do different things

Yeah, I understand that frustration. My parents are the same. and that's the very reason that they don't ever watch my daughter or get to spend a lot of time with her.

So I'm not a mom yet but I don't think I would want to spank my kids but I'm wondering what forms of discipline you're gonna plan to do
