Okay guys, let's spread some love here today. I'd love to hear more about how you guys met your current partner. Was it through dating apps or was it meeting them in person? Just tell me whatever story you have with your partner and how you guys met. Now me and my boyfriend, we met in a bar when we were both travelling. And to me, I really like that part of meeting someone organically in an environment in real life rather than on a dating app. But I know that it's not everyone's case nowadays and with the rise of dating apps, it's very often that people meet through those channels instead. So let me know how you guys met. And yeah, I'd love to hear some love stories.
Hey this girl follow me on TikTok right OK so earlier this week I have all her Instagram saved for me back to Unfollow her because I'm not gonna look like that but I sent her a picture of a video of Eric Carmen dancing to Playboi Carti week we click
It's such a lovely story, Brzee. I think so many people actually meet someone through like a cousin or friends or or someone in their close proximity somehow. And I think that's lovely.
I was sitting in a coffee shop up at the bar the window and I was leaving through a local paper that to see what movie I was going to go see by myself that day and this gorgeous guy stands over me and says hello I married him
We met through friends like 15 years ago almost. We've been friends for so long, but eventually we got to talking and realizing that we should be together.
That's amazing that you guys were friends for so long at first. I think that definitely builds like a very solid foundation before you take that step of becoming partners. So yeah, very great to hear.
I was actually a business owner of a bakery and he would come up basically every day to just buy coffee but he would use it as an excuse just to come up and talk to me and
That's basically how it all started at the beginning. I thought he was like basically only joking but After that, we basically got the chance to know each other a little deeper.
That is a super cute story and I think it's so cute that he would go there to talk to you like that And the fact that you were both emotionally available and able to build on that is just super amazing.
So he was living in a different state and I had her friend that lived there also and they worked together and she introduced us like I have FaceTimed her one day and he was around and it was just like oh who's that and then we just exchanged numbers that is talking FaceTi me and we went from there and we are five years strong going on six
That is very cute. I mean what are the odds of like he being around when you were face-timing her and For for that to sort of develop and staying strong for for that many years. That's amazing So since I'm doing long distance myself, I'd be curious like did you guys Do long distance in the beginning since you lived in like different states or how did you sort of go about? all of that.
So we did long-distance for three years and we have been living together now for two years so it was hard it was a lot of just like making time you know in between and flying back-and-forth to each other like taking turns and then eventually Once I got an apartment he ended up just moving down here with me and
Wow, three years of long distance now that is definitely impressive. We are like closing up to like having one year. Although the year has like flown by pretty quickly but every time we're apart it feels like like time is moving so slow to be fair. But yeah it's a lot of flying back and forth and I feel like it's really impacting our finances as well, all that flying. But yeah I'm happy to hear this story of how it worked out for you though.
