What was your kid's first word or first words? So for my daughter it started with da-da and then we moved on to kitty. And now she has a very wide vocabulary. She's a year old and she says, she says what's that? She says potato. She says cat. She says a lot of things, but what did you guys start with?

My daughter started saying mama first, which I was very happy about and it was super duper cute but my son is just dad-a. He's 11 months and it's literally just dad-dad-dad-dad-dad-dad. It doesn't say anything else.

My eldest said mama first, my middle said mama first, and my baby, she will be one on and she's not talking yet, she more or less just babbles.

So his first words was actually our dogs name Bubba which I think is an easy pass for the first word because I feel like Bubba is an easy word to pass and he didn't say mom or dad until months later
