Being sick as an adult has got to be one of the most annoying things ever because why am I sick at this big old age of mine? Why do I sound this nasally? Why am I winded from standing up and walking freaking across the room? Why am I sniffling like a six-year-old that doesn't know how to blow their nose? Like, no! Okay, like I've been sick for a week and I'm over it. Okay, I'm over my voice dropping and Sounding deeper because I'm so stuffed up and easily I'm tired of everything being extra heavy and I'm being extra tired on top of already just being tired Like normal tired now. I'm sick tired. Okay, and honestly if we're gonna be 100% here I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. Okay, I'm over it. I'm ready for it to be done like I I take my vitamins, I eat healthy, I work out, you know, and I'm still sick. This is some BS.
I think when you're an adult and you're sick and there is just a long list of things for you to do and you're just tired like tired hits so differently when you're 30 versus when you're 13, right?
Yes, because it's like, okay, my body already hurts normally, and now it's like hurting and aching. And now it's like I'm extra tired, and everything's too heavy, and everything just, ugh, it's awful.
Thankfully I don't have any kids yet and props to y'all moms that do that because I'm barely taking care of myself and And that's a whole nother ball game.
Girl it is a struggle. Moms do not get sick days at all. It is awful. Like that is the worst thing about being an adult and having kids is when you get sick. Yeah, no, you don't get to have a sick day at all.
