So, if you've given yourself a chance to be able to see this clip or you've heard about it some other kind of way, it's definitely worth talking about. Just starting with the fact that what we are seeing right now is a tit-for-tat, a lot of pettiness and people are being affected by these type of tactics. tactics so what the conservative it's not even conservative with the make america great again party is doing is they are trying to say well you want lgbtqia studies and stuff in the school that my children have to be subject to that i don't want because my religious beliefs don't allow me to to carry any of those beliefs that you have that is countering this new posture that the the Republicans are, or excuse me, the Make American Great Again party is doing to make sure that they can stop, they can make the case. Well, if you can teach me about your ideology, then surely I can teach you about my ideology and my ideology is how this country just first started. Yes, but under what type of conditions? Because we talk about genocide often, but we don't talk about genocide of black people. We don't. And we talk about the genocide of, And I say Black people, let me just get this out there for the, we are not from Africa tribe. Please, when you all have a moment, I'm waiting to see, I have not seen this yet because it would help me understand your tribes. What's the actual religion of your tribe? What mythology do you all carry? What was your foods that you ate? What songs did you sing? What dances did you sing? What were the deities that your tribes practiced or worshiped? What were the stories, the folk folk stories, all of these things that make up a culture, what were they teaching? And I just want us to really just.

I just really needed to take the time to just say all that because ugh some of y'all don't be letting us know what the tribe was like and I just be trying to understand and I had to get that out. But aside from that just think about the tactics

And think about what you can do in your house every single day to help your children. We are children, we have children, our children, ourselves, we're also children of the Orisha, of Eggoongon, of Egbe, of Ola Damare, which is the Supreme God, that's what we do.

Our children know this. Our children know this about what it is that they are using in their life as a guide to help them achieve what they came here to achieve on this earth in this lifetime. We talk about that. We talk about what happens in the world with stories, and we really apply that to our faith.

So, I don't worry about someone controlling my child's mind or doing anything like that because we are having open conversations and letting each other challenge ourselves for what we think. And that's how you get people who are going to think for themselves that are not going to be able to just easily take this petty propaganda tit for tat.

I wish I could just have left this message without y'all having to just wait for it to keep going Cause I really didn't want to have to do a talk cause I ain't got the time But I did have a moment of thinking that I needed to share So can we please try to look at this with a different pair of lens And also try to see how we can not get caught and swept up in it and distracted

if it does distract you, how are you going to solve it? What are you doing to make a difference? I do actually listen to Amanda Seals and sometimes I'm like, you know, your passion is great, but there's other things to think about and it helps to just think about them and not be so absolute.
