I was thinking about this thought, and what does it even mean to me, really, if I break it down. And it just comes down to me about how I give my emotions to other people, and how I can avoid taking on other people's emotions as a person that does absorb energy. How are you taking time to make a choice to not give someone a negative emotion and rather a positive one?
And I thought even further about the fact that every day I encounter someone who leaves a negative emotion with me or a positive emotion because I am a person that absorbs energy. And I find myself venting about the negative emotion that they've left with me and possibly giving that to someone else. And this is why I tend to always want to see the silver lining or the glass half full.
And it's a constant, it's constant work. It's my mind actively working on self-correcting. And that can be overwhelming to other people because most people, I would think, just want to flow through life without having to do that. But I find that being able to be aware and reset the next day so that I'm not giving negative emotions to someone else actually helps me have a positive day.
