There's another public service announcement for all of the stereo newbies the new people are joining this application the reason someone will invite you up to join the panel is if they like your energy or if you have something meaningful and worthwhile to add to the conversation I've seen too many people join a talk as a listener and immediately start pressuring the host to let them up if you've done this you have a significant misunderstanding of the way stereo works a host will invite you up for two main reasons either they like your energy or they have gathered that you have some experience or knowledge that will make their conversation with you valuable My advice to you here is to take a different approach listen first then talk that's why you have two ears and one mouse the bottom line is don't ask to join the panel until you have proven that you have something to add to the conversation
OK so typically for me when I do a talk and somebody wants to come up like I actually always ask them please Lake send a message because I wanna be able to hear your voice because I can pick up on tones and that's how I can figure out how old they are
So for me I don't ever ask hey put me up there I do know that I just listen like you say with my two ears I listen and then if I hear something funny I laugh or if I have a question or ask you know
That's not always the case or the art panels were they have front of people and completely roasted them we have to be very considerate of all the different options that are here you know we kept in touch if you don't I can't know we can't do THA but because you know what
Okay, so tell me this thing, how come every time I scroll to one of the talks, man, and I'm just listening? Like, I'm not even trying to get in. They always, always trying to put me in. Like I don't even know, I just get put in.
And when I get in, it's like, okay, y'all talking about that. That's cool. I'll sell us something. But then I want to leave. I can't get out. They're like, am I bugging? like why can't I get out the motherfucker
I have noticed a lot of new stereo users invite people up just because they're new and they want to talk to some people but also you can even end the talk this by hitting the red end call button at the bottom left of the screen bro
It actually seems like a good thing man you know a lot of men struggle to get in but you know if women want you so bad they make you get in that thing that seems like a good thing to me
