Do you take your kiddos to the public library regularly or do you not go too often we with my oldest be used to go like all the time when he was in his pre-pandemic this was a while ago army when he's like one and a half that puppet a book the different nominal baby tell her story time is it time so we will go often and then the pandemic it and then we had our second I just haven't really taken the boys in a long time But I think I want to get back in the habit of going to sounds like baby toddler classes are kind of fun I'm just kind of good for them to get out of the house and we left books here so I loved the library as a cat it was like one of my favorite places to go and some of them have like summer reading programs that are awesome so yeah
I actually do not only for the simple fact that my kids are crazy and I'm afraid they would destroy books because they aren't too friendly to theirs here, so no, it makes me like super anxious trying to take them to a library because I don't want them to damage the books.
We do we make it a fun trip to go and get new books and I'm always looking to see like what kind of activities the YMCA or another way the library here always has like storytime and dance parties and art activities so
We definitely go pretty often. I tried to go like once a week but really it's probably more like every other week at least once a month. We don't do any of like the baby classes or any of that yet just because I don't know we just haven't yet.
I really want to but the pandemic definitely messed with my head a little bit and I was already kind of like a little bit of a germaphobe. So I don't know. The baby class is giving me a little bit of anxiety. the library books, I clean them and disinfect them all.
I clean them and disinfect them all when we bring them home. So I don't know, definitely the pandemic changed things because I never thought about that stuff growing up as a kid, but it's just something you have to be a little bit more careful about nowadays, I guess.
But yes, we definitely do try to go regularly just to get books because I do not have the money to be buying new books and I get bored of reading the same books over and over again and he gets bored of hearing them over and over again. so we try to go as much as we can for sure.
Oh my word, yes, I am right there with you. I never really thought anything of this stuff, like before the pandemic, going to the library in the classes, but now I'm like so hesitant because since the pandemic, it's really changed things for me for sure.
I want to go soon with my kids and just kind of like get over that hurdle because it kind of gives me anxiety but wiping the books is an excellent idea that would definitely help alleviate some anxiety for sure.
Yes I actually just had a recently going with my one and two year old and we love it they get to play with other kids and learn how to share in they literally just get through so much and see other kids play and how they interact so if we actually really like it
My daughters to us like I've been I'm still get anxious taking her out on my own anywhere public just because I like the tantrums that she throws or like there's a possibility that she could throw so I have not buy do you wanna do library trips with her
I totally understand that I feel the same way even like having to now I definitely still get nervous to take them out because like what if someone throws a tantrum or someone you know just eat it yeah I definitely understand that anxiety around that
So my son is actually only one but once he gets older I am so excited to do library trips for sure we have a nice little library about 15 minutes from where I live so I'll definitely be going to the library at that
