Mother's Day would you prefer to eat out go somewhere for brunch or would you rather eat in arm and have like your spouse or someone cook a meal for me I think it depends Brunch would be nice out but it's also a little easier to just eat in
Before I had kids and I would like celebrate my mom, well, you know, like just my mom for Mother's Day, I would like to eat out, but now that I actually have kids, two of them, it's just easier to do like something at the house other than going to a crowded restaurant because you know, restaurants are always crowded on Mother's Day and then just working around like nap schedule, it's just easier to stay home. So I'd rather do like brunch or whatever we decide to eat at home.
I totally get this. I'm with you on that. I before kids would love to go out to eat with my mom for Mother's Day, but now it's just like stressful and chaotic and just not relaxing and mothers should be relaxed on Mother's Day. Totally get that for sure.
So this is how we do Mother's Day we don't celebrate Mother's Day on Mother's Day we do it on a Friday or you know before or after I don't even care and we do it out like we bring the kids with us and we just go out and we go to the seafood restaurant on the water and that's how we do it but we never celebrate or go out on the actual holiday too crowded to Grazie too busy for me
This is so so smart. I might have to steal this idea. I didn't even think about that. Wow, that's genius because yeah Restaurants every restaurant on other days is just so crowded. It's just not even enjoyable Probably the most crowded day of the year But yeah, that is such a smart idea. Thank you for sharing.
I rather eat in because in my area the restaurants on Mother's Day are crazy packed. The lines are long. The wait time is long to even get a table. And when I'm sitting down I also feel like I don't have the best quality of food because I feel like the cook in the kitchen, the people in the kitchen are just rushing to hurry up and get the meals out. And yeah, so I just rather be at home.
Yes 100% this is like the biggest like con of eating out on Mother's Day is it has always so packed like probably the most packed day of the year which makes sense because the moms don't wanna cook but yeah I totally understand that
I would prefer to eat out. I just feel like eating out is just an experience in itself But I don't really mind so what we really do is we go to brunch me my husband and my daughter And then we go have dinner at my parents house. We're like the men cook and do everything for the mamas. So Yeah, that's what I do really I don't care as long as I don't got to lift a finger.
Oh yes take out from bed sounds great for Mother's Day in your pajamas just be lazy I feel like sometimes or all the time going out to eat with kids it's just even a Mother's Day it's just stressful that that enjoyable for us
I think for me I'm probably gonna do an activity you know I feel like every time I go out with my son and just do active connectivity he just really makes my day and I'm just as a mom I love it you know that like that would be a perfect Monday like take him on Monday I am going to be some killer today so the babies happy but I also want to have my time so I'm not gonna I'm actually gonna take a girls trip
Definitely go out because it's just like I feel like it's like such a nice thing to do because we rarely go out and also there would be no dishes to wash or anything or like messy kids throwing stuff all over the floors and having to help me clean it up I don't know I think I've just been winning so many ways to go out
