Yeah so the idea of light in this context or verse is that people will try and find their own truth, their own meaning, their own theology, philosophy to life but what God reveals is that if we don't base our truth, our reality on God as the foundation then we will engulf ourselves in false theology, false philosophy which will eat us like a moth eats a garment.
