Teaching your kid something is wrong and completely restricting them are two different things. You need to let them have choices so they can decide for themself wether they want to pick what's best for them or temporary pleasure. Hate how some parents really try to control their children's lives.

Yeah, um, I didn't really watch the video, but I do know quite a bit about locking kids up. They're not my kids per se, but they are of the other colour, you know? I don't really want to put it that way because it's a bit rude, but they are of the other colour. I do have them locked up in my basement. Yeah, they get quite noisy at night asking for food, but it's alright. Yeah, just thought I'd put my thoughts on locking kids up there.

There's gotta be balance. Parents shouldn't be too lenient to the point of neglect, but also shouldn't shelter/ be so overbearing to their kids that they don't know how to act in the real-world. Just give it to 'em straight, as long as boundaries are respected 🤷🏾‍♀️
