The funny thing about the idea of time is that it travels in different ways for different people. So if you and your partner see each other every single day, the amount of time you're going to spend together over six months can be different than someone who sees each other on the weekends and has been together for five years.

Six months is not enough time to determine this being marriage material, but it's definitely enough time to see whether or not things are serious enough to continue on.
