Do they make me uncomfortable? Absolutely not. They are interesting. They make me want to learn more and more about them.

I love this question. Do the practices of non-Western cultures make you uncomfortable? No, not at all. In fact, I think many cultures should embrace their culture, their belief systems, their way of life, their languages, et cetera. I'm actually a part of the movement to reverse whitewashing in society, so I hope I can see that in my lifetime.

To be honest, I've seen some non-Western art that has disturbed me, so I can say yes to this question, but it's not to say all are disturbing. Some are actually very beautiful.
