I think you are right there with the thought process. But yes, actually, I have tried cheese balls with milk as a prank many years ago. It tasted better than the McFlurry, in my opinion.

McDonald's did it. You'd have to ask their flavor profile scientists that put together meals and different flavor combinations. McDonald's doesn't have this McFlurry in every McDonald's location. It is limited edition in limited places for summertime. So maybe it's in your area. I don't know.
