Not to mention, there's no such thing as an African-American. The Americas are one-third of the populated world, approximately, home to 55 nation-states, two large continents, and over 700 islands. Africa is home to over 54, let's see, 54 nation-states, so there's no such thing as an African citizen or an American citizen. You made it up.
The term citizenship does not attach to landmass or to continent, but rather to nation-state. In the Americas, just look at a map, a review of the map of the Americas will reveal 55 nation-states. A review of a map of Africa will reveal 54 nation-states. So we have 109 nation-states betwixt the two. Somebody really, really made this.
So why do we lend credence to and give homage to the jelly-faced snakes, the religious liars that would be? Don't you know that Jesse Jackson is one of these people who has pushed this narrative for many many years of his life? Didn't you know that he walked next door and impregnated his next door neighbor while his wife slept? These are not people that you should take counsel from.
I don't care if it's made up, at the end of the day, it represents who we are as descendants of African people who was brought to the Americas. So out of the respect of my ancestors, I am African and I'm also American. It's that fucking simple.
