What's up, y'all? So this Sunday, Wine Fine Podcast at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. I want to know, how does today's female hip-hop rap artists compare to the female rap artists of back in the day? Is it moving in the right direction? Tap in. I want to hear what you think.
All I notice is that the difference is professionalism and the lack of, I'm going to say self-respect. But I could be wrong. Maybe they respect themselves. But the lack of professionalism and the lyrics are whack, it's off. And I don't appreciate it.
Yeah, you're definitely on the money for that, you know, professionalism, the lyrics, might I add emphasis on the lyrics, because, you know, I've been listening to a lot of, you know, just to compare, you know, older hip-hop, you know, rap with the newer, and they was really telling stories and stuff. Now they're just doing, like, extended commercials with a hook.
