Who's more open-minded? People who believe in a higher power or people that don't? I wish there was a third option to include agnostics but you can't do that. So we just have to believe as an atheist.
I would say it depends on the believer and the atheist, so sometimes believers are so indoctrinated, and maybe false-doctored, that they'll be closed-minded. And sometimes atheists just want to be right, so they'll close their mind to any existence of God.
I totally agree with you. It really depends on the person and where they what they're like personally Like, it really differs. Like, it doesn't matter what you believe. It depends on how you believe it, you know?
I don't want to argue. I'm a nice guy. I don't know why you think I'm this evil monster. I've got a question. I've asked it. You've answered it. So good.
Bro, arguing and debating is not the same thing. Also, some people are just here because they wanted to say their opinions. It doesn't mean they want to fight with someone. They just want to see if other people have similar or different opinions. And why?
I think it's a matter of what are they closed minded, what are they open minded about. It's more about the subject matter than it is as to whether they're open or closed.
Within those two categories is one that believes in no higher power and then there's another group that believes in all type of higher powers which there should be subcategories.
Um, I would have to say though that's a good question. Um, I never considered myself atheist before. More, yeah, like more agnostic, right? Like the belief of a higher power, but I didn't care for it.
And there's this whole debate that atheists are not believers. Like, you can call an atheist a believer of science, right? They believe in science, but they claim that they don't believe in anything at all.
So I would say a believer is a little bit maybe more open-minded But it's really hard to say because there is just some hardcore Christians out there that are just Hardcore so I don't know. It's a tough one to be honest.
To me neither is very open-minded They're both usually pretty closed off and their way of beliefs One in God and usually atheists believe in science or sometimes nothing at all, but they're usually both pretty close minded
But if I had to pick one, I'd pick atheist because the ones that I have met, they'll usually try to see the people side who believe in God, whereas people who believe in God usually are like, you have to believe.
They never really want to try to give you a choice. It's always, he's will or their will. There's, like, never really an in-between with them. I consider myself agnostic. I kind of believe in God, but at the same time, I kind of believe in the...
Yeah, I guess if I had to pick one, I'd pick atheist before I picked anybody who believes in some type of higher power, but both I think is pretty close-minded.
I mean, I think believers, because you're open-minded to the fact that something outside of yourself is real, and people who don't believe that are closed-minded. Definitely like that.
I would definitely say it depends more in the individual because either one of these people could be very close minded or very fixing her own beliefs so it's more of a matter on how open minded they are as a person
