Hey, Vivid Purgatory. What's up? Excellent question. I feel that, you know, in order for us to see the world that we want to see, it starts super small and it starts at home, it starts with our interpersonal relationships. I definitely want to break huge generational cycles in my lineage and I know that that means I have to be completely different with the way I raise my children.

I can go on forever and ever and ever, but I'm just going to say one thing. One thing that I really want to bring into my future family is a true setting, a true safe environment to speak and be heard, to give and to receive, fully, not a way of shutting down.

My kids, or my family's emotions, feelings, thoughts, opinions, concerns, whatever. I want to create a safe environment where they can openly express themselves and we can get through anything together for real, not in a fake way. So yeah, I just want to create a safe environment where my family feels safe to be vulnerable.
