Hello Stereo and Happy Hispanic Heritage Month. Here is another Puerto Rican recipe, Bistec and Cebollado, which is pretty much steak and onions. This is a personal favorite of mine. This was my favorite dish my mom would make me growing up and she would serve it usually with white rice and stewed kidney beans, habichuelas guisadas, and it was so good. It would be so good. Like I said, it was my favorite dish growing up. Maybe I'll share a recipe for stewed beans in the future, but this is pretty true to what I do myself, so I hope you enjoy.

So the more, oh hi Lily, the more you share this with the more I realize like I Have a big love For Puerto Rican and Cuban food because a lot of those things that you share remind me of Cuban dishes like the one you were sharing with me the other day with the Gotta boil it in the leaf and not the Cubans having a dish like that too That's if they don't put they put beef instead of pork in it. Anyway

Anyway, now I usually don't leave too many messages, but, so this one right here, um, they serve with black beans, onions, and something else, but it's a Cuban dish that is pretty damn similar. So, I have a big, big taste, because we don't have a lot of Puerto Rican restaurants here. We do have a lot of Cuban restaurants in Savannah. Um, Cuban cuisine, but not a lot of Puerto Rican cuisine. But it seems pretty similar, pretty the same thing. And plantains on every meal.

The thing is, Tammy, like all that Caribbean food, they're just cousins, like, we'll make pretty much the same thing, but just like a variation. That's why we fuck with, you know, Jamaican food, Dominican food, Cuban food, like, you know, it all tastes great to us because it's like, it's like we went to someone else's house that's making the same food, but you know, their own spin on it, you know what I mean?
