So here's the thing. I'm getting on in years, and it hurts my hands to constantly text. So I'm a voice-noter. I don't mind it. It's like having a genuine conversation. But which do you prefer? Do you prefer someone to text you, or do you prefer voice notes?
Personally, I prefer to leave a voicenote, but if I'm looking for information in a text that someone sent me, I'd rather see the text than a voicenote because I'd have to listen through the whole voicenote, if that makes any sense.
I think texts are better for short answers and if you're leaving an essay, like I usually do when I voice note, I would say that voice notes are better. So it depends if you want to have a long conversation. Also I found the other day I was really annoyed because I couldn't search for something like in the search bar for something important that we'd been talking about because we'd voice noted it.
Well sweet freak mate, I'll tell you what, I'll send you a voice message. This is Alf Stewart from Summer Bay mate, is Summer Bay here to play? Come on down to the diner mate, I'll buy you a bowl of nachos. You beauty.
I'm a terrible waffler, so as a voice note giver, you as a receiver is just not, you may as well just have said to me, Bex would have preferred that to be in an email or text, because I end up going on tangents quite a lot in my voice notes, so unless they're clear and like, unless I can contain my note, I'm a texter.
Texts, unless I need to convey something, like if I need to get my feelings out, voice note. But what I would like Stereo to do is in chats, like in messages, private messages, group chats, whatever, I wish they would put the transcript like they do on these posts.
I'm speaking from my mother's point of view. I have a five-year-old. I can I can barely get on my phone without my five-year-old being next to me, so I'm definitely a voice-noter Texting is well out of the question. It would take me like half an hour just to write three words, so 100% voice-noter
I'd have to say personally, erm, a voice note's a lot better, you know, than sending a message. You know, or er, either or, as long as you're taking time out to obviously message me, I don't mind. You know, it's all about taking time out, isn't it, you know what I mean? And appreciating the person for taking the time out to message you, or voice note you. So, yeah.
