Personally I'd say it's honestly fine to be your kids because my best friend got beat as a kid and she still gets pee and she's like honestly so cool and funny you can't wow you don't think it's so no I don't I think it we can
I spank but I don't spank hard. I give them like a little nip in the butt, tell them know and honestly that works with my two. They listen pretty well.
So depending on what they did, I try and talk to them, explain to them what they did was wrong. And then I redirect them, show them the right way. and then if they get upset or start crying or feel bad, I let them know that it's okay, it happened, it's over with. We learn.
It's OK it happen you learn from your mistake you won't do it again and then I try and comfort them let them know that it's OK we talked about it and it won't happen again and if it does we do the same talk
I think discipline is when the parent beats them so much that they have purple marks on their legs and like, I don't even know, it just hurts when they sit down and walk. That's what discipline is.
