I actually do get lonely sometimes, but then I just remember how cool I am and how cool it is to hang out with me. So I don't really get lonely, but I do feel it sometimes. Then I have my little puppy.
Often times when I see the old people sitting alone in the park or they just don't have any friends to hang out with just because they are old, that really hurts me I feel like a lot of people would experience the same thing when they get to that age
This is a really tough question because I get lonely all the time. Overcoming it? I don't even know. I cry a lot. Crying it out helps. Hugging myself. Snuggling.
This is a bad coping mechanism, but drinking does help even though that's not the best one, but it kinda helps. Meditation, sound baths, yeah that's working for me right now.
I have the same coping mechanism as you, but I find that crying is the most effective for me coupled with some self-love activities like I don't know dating myself, drinking wine, watching movie, making myself pretty So yeah.

I used to, but I always say I'm so lonely, but I prefer to be lonely because if you can't love the company of the aloneness, then you will always consider yourself as lonely and have to have someone with you.
I'm more of a recluse person, but when I actually cared about being around other people, I would do things to better my life whenever I felt alone. Like study different things, learn about different things, get better at different crafts.
