Self-care isn't selfish. How do you feel about that? I'm curious. What are your thoughts? Do you think that self-care is a selfish act? And if so, why?
No, self-care isn't selfish. It's important. And Sister Crystal nailed it. You can't help other people if you're not helping yourself. I did that today. I got a massage, told my business partner, fuck off. I ain't doing shit. It's my day.
There no self-care is not selfish If anything you you want to somebody that would take care of themselves because they can't take care of themselves They can't take care of anyone else. Oh, yeah
Hey, Mr. Crystal. You're absolutely right. I 100% agree with that mindset. That how are you able to care for others if you don't care for yourself first? If you're sick, if you're...
Self-care is not selfish because you have to take care of yourself. So no, I don't think self-care is selfish. We have to take care of ourselves. So, yeah.
you know if you're sick and unhealthy you're obviously not going to be able to be there for the people who need you most. So 100% agree with you sister, I hope you're doing well.
I don't think it's selfish because you're caring about yourself more but people don't like that I mean the people around us don't like when we take care of ourselves because they want us to give them more attention that's why they call it it's
It's why the people around us be like, yeah, this person is being selfish But I don't think we should reply to what they say or feel guilty about it It's a nice thing, it's a beautiful thing to do
Yeah, self-care isn't selfish although it may feel like that at first due to mental conditioning. But once you start working on yourself and you start seeing the results, you'll be able to break through that pattern.
See, I really like this response as well. I think that, you know, there is some conditioning that goes on that makes us feel like we can't care for ourselves. But there is a fine line between it. I think that we do need to understand there is a difference between actually caring for ourselves and being self-indulgent.
I really like this response. Actually, this is probably one of my favorite ones. You are 100% right. There is a fine line between being selfish and truly caring for one's self.
