because when I think about love or being in a relationship I usually have this long list or criteria of this person or what the idea of our relationship is.

should be like and it's maybe kind of superficial that's why it's hard to be in a serious committed relationship.

I don't think it's messed up. I think you just haven't found yet your safe space when it comes to relationships. Like your really good safe space.

But for me, I think true love exists. Even if it doesn't happen to me, I still do think that true love exists.

Okay, let's say you believe that love exists because you're in this really happy relationship and then that person breaks your heart. Suddenly you think, oh, true love doesn't exist anymore.

And from then on it gets confusing because you try to weigh down if true love exists for you or if it doesn't.

I still do! I still believe in love, even in despite of the fact that I've been hurt so many times. I still do believe in love. I still believe that true love exists. And that my person is there.

For me, quote-unquote, failed relationship is not really a failure. It's more of a lesson and You get to know more about yourself. You become more certain what you want and what you don't want in a relationship.

And yes, you're right, we go through all these nasty breakups that go to the bad of a relationship just to teach us a lesson and it's beautiful the process, I guess it's beautiful.

So I will be the first to admit I have trust issues, but I do definitely still believe in love. It's out there and throw yourself into love. Throw yourself into love no matter how many times you've been hurt. It's worth it.

Yes, I believe in love, but I think it's with the right person. It definitely takes the time to find the right one who you can find true love with.
