what's y'all's take on dating a younger man by a good amount of years?

So it just depends on the connection that I have with this person and the vibe and that's all that matters. However, I do need to take in consideration of how young he is and understand where his maturity level is compared with mine and then meet in between.

I totally agree with you. I guess I'm just so stuck on like this fear of like being played by a younger kid but vibes and connection and maturity is good.

That depends on the specific individual. I have dated younger guys and that did not go well for me because a whole lot of times they were flaky and immature and they were just not cutting it. They didn't even do the bare minimum. So not my vibe, man.

I gotta add on to that though that my experience shouldn't determine someone else's experience. So that was my experience. That doesn't mean that all younger guys are immature. There are mature folks out there, so just take it with a grain of salt, really.
