I want to know if you guys have any traditions, birthday traditions that you do starting from when your baby turned one until obviously when they're older. If you continue to do the same thing, I want to know, I want to have some ideas.

So I don't really have like a birthday tradition but it's definitely something I want to start with my son. His first birthday we went like all out, but one thing that I know I want to do is like always have a birthday theme

Not really, just spending my birthday with my family, having a birthday cake, this simple stuff.

So growing up my mom would always decorate the house as if we were having a party even though we weren't. So it kind of kept that tradition going with my own kids. I go all out with the decorations and I just let them decide what they want to do for the day and we would always do that.

I always almost end up crying every year on my birthday. Something traumatic always happens. Seems to be tradition enough.

Now that I thought about it a little bit, I actually do have a tradition that I started last year with my daughter. I was out during the day of her birthday and I think that's what I'm going to do every time it's her birthday. I'm just gonna not work and spend the day with her.
