Everyone shouts out they want people to be authentic. They crave it. But yet, they perpetrate a fraud every fucking day. So, do you really want someone to be authentically themselves around you? Or do you prefer them to be a version of what you would rather have? Just to satisfy you and your needs.

Nah, I need people to be authentic so I know what the fuck I'm dealing with. Give me the opportunity to decide if you are the type of person that I really want to be around.

I need people to be authentically themselves and stop worrying about my authentic self because it offends them. I'm going to always be me.

The thing is, like, I'm all about authenticity. I feel like you should be able to do that. And if you can't, I can't fuck with you.

It's hard to be your real authentic self because most people are afraid of what other people think of them and dealing with the consequences of what other people think of them so it be nice if we live in a world that just accepted authenticity and uniqueness but I think that's what we were saying they want but most the time to create that world means to be innovator
