Today's topic comes from the New Living Translation and it reads, There are friends who destroy each other, but real friends stick closer than a brother. And I couldn't agree more. It's so hard to find genuine friends today. So if you do have one, be thankful. It's awesome and amazing to have great friendships, great relationships. And if you're feeling like you need to re-evaluate your friendships and relationships, you should do so because people should be positive and uplifting in your life. And they should be leading you in the right way and also being upfront and not talking behind your back. People should praise you behind your back to other people and talk about you to your face. So if they don't do that, you gotta find yourself some new friends.
First thought, I love how you actually used the lyrics from Friends by Houdini for the title. Uh, second thing, um, where can I go to find friends? Kind of lacking in that.
To be honest, I didn't find genuine real friends until I hit the church. And I'm not saying that they're perfect, but they're some pretty nice people. Um, but yeah.
Yeah, I haven't been to my church in some years. I actually dismembered myself because There's a whole lot that's been going on especially since the pandemic hit they've been doing it online And I didn't have any way to connect with anybody
I started going to church like a year ago to this one particular church here in Arizona where I'm from. I was in and out of church but I finally found a home. Woohoo!
I hope you're able to find one soon. That's one thing that sucked about the pandemic. I really wish that the church would have stood up and been like, nope, we're still congregating. I don't care. Some churches did though, and I give them more props.
