Do any of you feel like technology is in advancing fast enough

I think things like virtual reality haven't advanced fast enough and maybe travel, but AI is advancing pretty fast and I don't think it needs to advance any faster. I did think it would be ahead of where it's at now though a decade ago.

I feel like we've reached some sort of plateau with our current technology where we don't get a lot of benefit from investing into research and innovation. But we need that new technology that has direct effect on our daily life like the internet had in the 90s or what AI is kind of trying to do right now. I think that is going to be the breakthrough that will accelerate and boost innovation Thank you.
