I am feeling so productive right now I have everything mapped out of like what I wanna do and what I want to accomplish I'm trying to get really really in tune with exactly what I want to happen because I feel like sometimes I'm like I don't know I'm open but I feel like I need to be exact to get what I want so I just ordered a huge whiteboard and I'm so excited first one gonna teach English on it and second of all I like to use a whiteboard for planning and goalsetting and I feel like the times in my life I was the most productive I always had a giant whiteboard and it helped me a lot so what are you guys use like I use everything first of all I have a day planner and like a physical day planner I have one on my phone I use list Are use calendars I feel like I'm kind of all over the place with planning tools but for some reason I need it up on my walls so I can see it I used to print out sheets of paper with all my goals and like tape them on my walls when I didn't have a whiteboard so I feel like I'm the most productive when it's on my wall and I have that constant reminder so let me know what works for you guys
All over the place I've tried planners and to-do lists and all that I quite I haven't found a system that quite works for me yet So I'm still on the hunt for that and as far as goal settings I just need to focus on one goal because I'm like doing like three different goals at the same time and And yeah, that can be overwhelming. So I gotta learn how to just focus on one thing at a time.
I've struggled with that so much in my life where I have like 20 goals and I try to do all the same time and I just want to share some thing that I heard about a month ago and then or two months ago it was really helped me it said yes you can do multiple things but pick one thing accomplish what you want with the one thing and then add a second thing and then keep going like that so I've been doing that and I'm onto three things right now so because I get bored doing the same thing which sounds like he might
Yeah you know what a setting goals is something a long time goes on like writing them down having a physically in front of me something I wanted to do for a while but I just I've never even got into DeBonis maybe I'm a bit scared to actually do it but I definitely do I work from home so for me to stay on track and be like I could've been a productive day I have a whiteboard next where I work and I just write down all my daily goals and I took them off and have a colour coded thing as well with her next to in progress I finished the house Miller
Oh my god that makes me so happy thinking about the color coded I do that kind of stuff too I cannot wait for my white bird to get here but you'll be shocked when you do start writing your goals down and saying them out loud because I used to be the type who's like I don't wanna jinx it the opposite is true talk about it write it down think about it and I swear you're going to see a huge difference take it I am 50 Listen to your wise old auntie
I am too with my goalsetting so I have a certain number that I'm making today and I'm gonna fucking make it happen my day is starting off slow but I'm gonna make so much money today I feel it in my bones it's going to happen
Yeah the whiteboard method definitely work for me because I just need to see it because if it's like some app I won't go on it you know oh my God for 30 days and then eventually else is it's hard for it to be a habit for the whiteboard it's right in front of you you look and I am so hot that the night So the figure either
OK that makes so much sense with me as well because I was so excited about this app and I even paid for like the yearly subscription and I did exactly that I was all into it I color-coded it and then you know I forgot about it after like three days so I just can't wait for my whiteboard to get here
I like planners. I like just like studying a date and then like going backwards of like what? Benchmarks you need to hit by when so you can just like stay accountable with like an actual date love a bit really big calendar guy Love planning things on the calendar helps hold you accountable that way when you miss something you can just like you know Prioritize it that day and then get it done Yeah Not really big on the whiteboard though. I think I have trauma from school
That's all very very very good advice I do love setting dates for my goals as well because I have to give myself deadlines I'm one of those people who works really well on a deadline because even though I was super good with school I have too many degrees I was a big Krammer and stay up all night kind of person I just like all of it I like everything but I have to also see it because I'm a visual person so I have to see it in front of me
Minimalist is an app on my phone and it's called Minimal List. I guess it's like a play on words, but that's how I hit goals. If I write those lists out for each day, once it's written out, even if I don't look at the list, my brain is programmed to do those things. So I think that's what really works for me.
Go setting usually want to do it by a vision board or just writing stuff down and setting that goal. I think you can just do it mentally. There's a good chance you want to achieve it but if you have written down and you know what to do it's in your segue and you can knock it out with ease.
I'm just in denial I try to write goes down I'll write them down and never look at them I'm so busy working I'm all over the place and scatterbrained so I appreciate and respect people that you know can use a whiteboard use their phone which I have in the past I've used my notes App to write down calls do I ever look at them know cause I'm so busy doing 20 different things at once
