It honestly depends on like who's making the movie so if it's like on Netflix just forget about it but if it's like a HBO Amazon I've got a little bit more help

I feel like if it's done right and it looks right to be a movie or a show or whatever they decide to do, I think it will work. It will be able to work.

I feel like it does actually work because if you look at the Super Mario brothers like you said and they're supposed to have been really different hit movies and I think that's because people have played the game for the understand game especially if you like the game makes you want to like the movie more
