So what is up my stereo family? So today I want to discuss the movie Love Jones. Love Jones came out, was it, I want to say was it the 80s or the 90s? I want to say maybe then where was I and we'll think of where I was. It was either the 80s or 90s but anyway it was with Laurence State and Neil Long and the movie was, to me it was excellent. I loved their relationship, but I didn't really see them coming back together at the end of the movie. I hope I'm not spoiling it for anyone. But what I didn't like was when Neilong left, remember when she left, and then when she went home to see if it could work with her ex. First of all, I said, no, no, stop trying to go back to her ex if you're already in a current relationship. But anyway, went back home to her ex, And then when she came back, excuse me, I'm so sorry. I'm been late today, but when she came back, Lorenz Tate, remember that's when she was dating. When she came back, he didn't know she was back yet and she saw him out with another girl. But you left and told him, you know, you just wanted to go see, you were leaving to see if things were gonna work out with you and your ex. So clearly y'all was together. I mean, I would've looked at you like I'm not waiting on you. But anyway, so she comes back And she starts hanging out with his homeboy. And then the homeboy takes her to a party. Now come on now, you should, you're gonna think that your man, your man is not gonna be there. Like Lorenz take, wasn't gonna be there, but that's his boy. So things get uncomfortable. And you know, and then she leaves the party and then Lorenz take goes after her because his other homeboy was like being disrespectful to her and everything. So my point is, was she right for coming back and dating a homeboy, I think she was wrong for that because I'm like, you were already kicking it with him. And if you were trying to make him jealous, that was not the right move. That's just my opinion. What do you guys think about the movie?

I can't stand Love Jones and that's probably a very unpopular opinion in the Black community. I can't stand it's not a representation of healthy love. The guy literally stalks her.

He finds out where she lives and comes to her house like I don't understand like other than the poetry and if he wasn't a beautiful man then like people wouldn't be done for it and but it's not cool it's not alright I just don't like the movie

I found it so creepy when he literally followed her home, like that was no, I hate that. I do not like it as a general romance because there's just too many toxic elements.
