This is for everyone. I'm talking the entrepreneurs, the CEOs, the tech savvy, the side household gig economy individuals. This one is for you. How is tech bringing in extra revenue for you? What do you do or what tools are you using to bring in that revenue?
So someone who's been running a multi-million dollar tech company and now working in one, the first and foremost is if you've got a good network, pretty much any tech company will give you a solid revenue share agreement because they've got nothing to lose from it. So basically that means you can share a company with your network and if someone else uses that company, they'll split Let the revenue with you.
Generally, you're going to have to prove to the tech company that you actually have some, call it, viability in that scene because they can't onboard anybody as an introducer or something like that. But if you can just show to a relevant network that they don't already own, you can make a ton because generally it costs them nothing to run their tech. So giving you even a 50-50 gross revenue share is not uncommon, especially in payments.
So that means if you know a company, maybe they're struggling with their transaction fees, they feel like they're paying too much, not getting good customer service that do 10 million a year in revenue through card payments. You can introduce them to a card provider and they give them a better rate. The card provider will, the acquirer will split that with you 50-50 for as long as they're together. you'll make a ton of money. Pass it income.
So this is totally unusual request, but could you bring a similar question like this to your platform here on stereo? I'd be interested in what people say and what kind of conversation started. I love your insight and I certainly think that you have so much value to bring to the conversation.
So then my last question is totally off topic, but do you know of any incubators who are getting into the metaverse and looking to incubate new metaverses.
I need to find like 10 companies that are making $10 million a year and do this like tomorrow. That is amazing. I bet it's easier than not, but I just don't know of any of these companies that would need that kind of service. Maybe I'll get lucky.
So I'm realising that I'm a little bit late in responding to this, but I'm more than happy to help. I've got a pretty big overview of, well, incubators, accelerators, startup programs, mentorship programs, etc. In fact, I was a director of the board of a company called Findexable that maps out global fintech companies and they also do accelerators and incubators. But yeah, do let me know, send me a private message if there's anything I can do to help and I'll try to do what I can, even if it's a bit late at the moment.
